Our BHCA choirs performed at the annual Florida Vocal Association Music Performance Assessment, and the scores were amazing. Our combined Ladies Choir earned four "Superior" ratings (a perfect score), our Bel Canto choir earned four "Superior" ratings (a perfect score), and our Gold Standard Men's Choir earned an overall "Excellent" rating.

Bay Haven Charter Academy opened August 9, 2001, serving 225 students in grades K - 5 that school year. This school year will be a great year with 1068 students in grades K-8!

Bay Haven Charter Academy, Bay County's first Charter School, combines outstanding instructors, a modern facility, and a high level of parental involvement to provide our students with what we believe to be the finest educational experience available in the area. Both our elementary and middle schools are graded "A" schools by the Florida Department of Education, and both earned federal AYP (annual yearly progress). Our elementary school ranked first out of twenty schools in Bay District, and our middle school ranked first out of the seven Bay District middle schools. In the State of Florida, Bay Haven Middle School ranked 10th out of 558 traditional and charter public schools (top 2%). Bay Haven Elementary ranked 202nd out of 1727 traditional and charter public schools (top 11%).

Bay Haven Charter Academy is a public kindergarten through 8th grade facility. There is no tuition required. Parents are required to volunteer 20 hours per school year. There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year.



K-5 Parents! If you have curriculum questions about reading or math, we have two coaches (Ketura Williams for math and Trish Eidson for reading and language arts) who are available to help with tips for working with your child at home. This is a resource available to all elementary students.
